Three Leading Optical Software Players to Co-Develop New OfficeMate "Enterprise" Program

Melville, N.Y. - December 2, 2004 — Marchon Software Solutions (MSS), composed of industry-leading software companies Delta Systems and OfficeMate, is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic alliance with Largo, FL-based C.C. Systems, a developer of optical software applications for lab and retail management. The companies have joined forces in a developmental and marketing alliance to build "the ultimate retail solution" to support eyecare enterprises in North America.

According to Delta System's Michael Usey, "This definitive software solution will incorporate the best qualities of Delta System's broad and deep functionality, C.C.System's intuitive design, third party expertise and scalability and OfficeMate's usability and flexibility. The product is extremely robust with capabilities including multi-platform support, internet enablement and ASP delivery, multi-language capacity, user-definable "skins", and interfaces to multiple lab systems, medical packages, databases, and accounting platforms. This application will fill a substantial gap in the multi-location eyecare software market which currently requires multiple systems to achieve a complete solution.

With the collaboration of NeuLion, a Long Island-based software development company focused on web-based solutions, Marchon Software Solutions is actively developing this groundbreaking, eyecare software solution. The premium offering will be marketed under the optical software industry's leading brand name of OfficeMate, and will be known as OfficeMate Enterprise to signify its focus on managing medium and large businesses. The new application is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2005.

Al Berg, Marchon CEO, notes, "Our accounts success and profitability is the number one priority at Marchon and software technology is integral to running an eyecare business today...whether it's one office or hundreds of offices." Added Ed Buffintion, of Marchon's OfficeMate, "We will now have an easy growth path for our existing OfficeMate clients with multiple locations requiring the additional scalability of an enterprise solution."

Executives said that while OfficeMate Enterprise is being developed, Delta and C.C.Systems will continue to actively support their customers with their ongoing retail software management product lines. These include Delta's Add-Power and C.C.Systems' Computerized Optical Systems, also known as COS. Once the new Enterprise system is available, existing Delta and C.C.Systems' 2,000-plus customers will be able to convert to the new solution.

"Marchon Software remains committed to servicing the independent eyecare practitioner with OfficeMate's current flagship product supporting over 5,000 offices nationwide," said Buffington.

Separate from this agreement is C.C.Systems lab products known as Labzilla. "We continue to development and polish our wholesale lab products" said Steve Cohen "and are committed to our customers and the industry."
